This statement comes in light of recent political shifts, including the ANC's failure to secure a majority in the elections, leading to speculation about potential changes in government composition. SACP's Solly Mapaila emphasized the party's commitment to its principles and its role within the alliance, indicating that while the political landscape might be evolving, the SACP's position and influence within the government are not immediately threatened.
