  • A new poll from the advocacy group Data for Progress has shown that most American voters do not support a crypto strategic reserve. According to the poll results published on March 14, 51% of voters opposed the idea when asked directly.

A recent poll conducted by the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) has revealed significant opposition among Americans to a proposed U.S. government plan to create a reserve of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The survey, which included 1,000 participants, found that 57% of respondents were against the idea, with only 22% in favor. Opposition was particularly strong among Democrats, with 63% against the plan, compared to 54% of Republicans. The poll also highlighted concerns about the government's involvement in cryptocurrency markets, with many citing potential risks such as market manipulation and the undermining of the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies. This opposition comes amidst discussions in Congress about regulating digital assets, reflecting a broader public skepticism towards government intervention in the crypto space.
