  After an incredible weekend in South Carolina, things are just getting better for Mountaineer Baseball.

The WVU baseball team is set to travel to Baton Rouge to face LSU in the NCAA Super Regionals, marking their first appearance in this stage since 2019. The Mountaineers earned their spot by defeating Dallas Baptist and Arizona in the Tucson Regional. The best-of-three series against LSU, the top seed in the Baton Rouge Regional, is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 7, at 3 p.m. ET, with the second game on Saturday, June 8, at 9 p.m. ET, and a potential third game on Sunday, June 9, if necessary. This matchup presents a significant challenge for WVU as they aim to advance to the College World Series.
