Many face the constant fear of a caregiving emergency disrupting their work, leading to absenteeism or the need for flexible work arrangements. The financial implications are also significant; caregivers often experience reduced earnings due to missed work, out-of-pocket healthcare expenses, and the potential need to reduce work hours.
