  Milwaukee County's Traveling Beer Garden season is officially underway. Beer started flowing at Wilson Park on Wednesday - the first of eight stops.

The Milwaukee County Parks system is bringing back its popular traveling beer garden for the 2023 season, starting on May 4 at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners and concluding on October 1 at the Kosciuszko Community Center in Milwaukee. This year's schedule includes 14 different park locations, offering a variety of local beers, food, and family-friendly activities. The beer garden, operated by the Milwaukee County War Memorial, Inc., not only provides a unique social experience but also supports the maintenance and improvement of the county's parks, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to these efforts. Visitors can enjoy traditional German beers, live music, and games, making it a beloved community event that celebrates Milwaukee's rich brewing heritage.
