Buc-ee's eyes summer opening for Coastal Georgia travel center

The Glynn County location is set to bring nearly 200 jobs and millions of dollars in revenue to the area.

Buc-ee's, a popular travel center known for its large store and numerous gas pumps, is set to open its first location in Georgia on November 17, 2023, in Brunswick. The new store, located off I-95 at Highway 99, will be 53,000 square feet and feature 120 fueling positions, making it one of the largest Buc-ee's locations. The opening is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the area, including the creation of 200 full-time jobs with benefits like above-average pay, a 6% matching 401k, and three weeks of paid vacation. The store will offer Buc-ee's signature items such as Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries, along with a variety of other products. The opening event will start at 6 a.m. and is anticipated to draw large crowds, with the first 200 customers receiving special "Buc-ee's Brunswick" t-shirts.
