  • Dozens of flights were canceled on Tuesday, with delays on inbound flights averaging 161 minutes after air traffic controllers briefly lost contact with planes last week.

On January 11, 2024, Newark Liberty International Airport experienced significant flight delays and cancellations due to a power outage that affected Terminal C, leading to a temporary halt in security screenings and baggage handling.
