Overall passenger satisfaction jumped six points last year.
In the 2025 J.D. Power North America Airline Satisfaction Survey, JetBlue Airways emerged as the top-ranked airline in first/business class, while Delta Air Lines led in premium economy and Southwest Airlines topped the economy/basic economy category. The survey, which assessed passenger satisfaction across various factors including aircraft, baggage, boarding, check-in, cost and fees, flight crew, in-flight services, and reservations, showed an overall increase in satisfaction scores compared to the previous year. Notably, JetBlue scored highest in first/business class with a satisfaction score of 883 out of 1,000, Delta achieved 865 in premium economy, and Southwest reached 842 in economy/basic economy. The results highlight the airlines' efforts to enhance passenger experiences amidst a competitive market.
