  • JetBlue is heading to Spain next summer with its latest expansion efforts to Europe, and flights are already on sale for its popular economy and business class cabins.

JetBlue has announced new flight routes from Boston to Madrid and from New York's JFK to Edinburgh, Scotland, as part of its expansion in the transatlantic market. The Boston to Madrid route will commence on May 29, 2024, with daily service, while the JFK to Edinburgh service will start on May 22, 2024, also operating daily. These new routes are part of JetBlue's strategy to offer more affordable travel options across the Atlantic, challenging the dominance of legacy carriers. The airline aims to provide low fares, with one-way fares starting at $499 for Boston to Madrid and $449 for JFK to Edinburgh. Additionally, JetBlue will offer its Mint premium service on these routes, which includes lie-flat seats, enhancing the travel experience for passengers seeking luxury at a potentially lower cost than competitors.
