A man from Chicago, identified as 33-year-old Deandre Pickford, traveled approximately 140 miles to rob a bank in Michigan City, Indiana, on June 11. After robbing the 1st Source Bank, Pickford fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police following a brief chase. He was charged with robbery and resisting law enforcement, and is currently being held at the La Porte County Jail. The incident was captured on the bank's surveillance cameras, which aided in his swift arrest.
