The traveling exhibit "Tuskegee Airmen: Their Untold Stories" is set to open at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, on February 1, 2023, and will run through May 2023. This exhibit, which has been showcased at various locations across the U.S., aims to educate the public about the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. It features personal stories, artifacts, and interactive displays to highlight the airmen's struggles against racial discrimination and their significant contributions to the war effort, including their impressive combat record. The exhibit is a collaborative effort between the museum and the Tuskegee Airmen National Historical Museum in Detroit, Michigan, and is part of a broader initiative to preserve and share the legacy of these pioneering aviators.
