Generation Z is showing the highest enthusiasm for returning to in-person work compared to other generations, according to a recent survey by XYZ Research. The survey, which polled over 10,000 workers across various industries, found that 72% of Gen Z respondents expressed a strong preference for office-based work, citing better collaboration, mentorship opportunities, and a more structured work environment as key factors. In contrast, only 55% of Millennials and 48% of Gen X workers felt the same way. The data also revealed that while remote and hybrid work models remain popular, the desire for in-person interaction is driving a notable shift among younger workers, who are eager to build their careers in a traditional office setting.
