The University of Texas Longhorns football team has added a new quarterback, Charles Wright, who previously played at four different colleges: California, Nevada, Colorado, and most recently, TCU. Wright, who has one year of eligibility left, is a graduate transfer and will join the Longhorns as a walk-on. He has limited game experience, having completed 10 of 19 passes for 101 yards and one touchdown in his college career. Despite his journeyman status, Wright is expected to compete for the backup quarterback position behind starter Sam Ehlinger.
