Designing dishes for in-flight service is a unique challenge.

Daniel Boulud, the renowned chef, is once again elevating the dining experience for air travelers through a partnership with Delta Air Lines. Starting in June 2025, passengers in Delta One on select transcontinental flights will enjoy a specially curated menu featuring Boulud's signature dishes, such as his famous short rib of beef with black truffle and pommes purée. This collaboration aims to bring the Michelin-star quality dining experience to the skies, continuing Boulud's tradition of enhancing in-flight meals that began with his previous successful ventures with airlines. The initiative reflects a growing trend of airlines partnering with celebrity chefs to offer gourmet dining options at 30,000 feet, enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.
