This extensive travel schedule is largely due to the Chargers' international game in London against the New England Patriots, as well as their cross-country trips to play teams like the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens. The significant mileage could potentially impact the team's performance due to fatigue and jet lag, a concern highlighted by the fact that teams traveling over 20,000 miles have historically struggled to make the playoffs. Despite these challenges, the Chargers are optimistic about their chances, bolstered by the return of key players like Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler.
