A Greenville, South Carolina, man was arraigned at a federal court for allegedly using stolen funds to pay for a wedding, luxury travel, and a failed restaurant.
A Greenville, South Carolina man, Christopher S. Kirchner, was indicted for allegedly using over $20 million of company funds for personal expenses, including a lavish wedding at a luxury resort in Mexico and dining at high-end restaurants. Kirchner, the former CEO of Slync, a supply-chain startup, is accused of misusing investor funds to finance his extravagant lifestyle, which also included purchasing a private jet and a multi-million dollar home.
