Saturday morning storms cause early headaches for Orlando travelers

Central Florida experienced delays and cancellations at Orlando International Airport and Sanford Airport on Saturday morning.
On a recent Saturday morning, severe storms swept through the area, causing widespread power outages and damage. The storms, which included heavy rain, strong winds, and hail, led to the cancellation of several outdoor events and disrupted travel. Over 100,000 customers were left without power at the peak of the outages, with utility companies working throughout the day to restore electricity. No major injuries were reported, but the storms left a significant impact on the community, with fallen trees and damaged structures. Residents were advised to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improved.
