The U.S. State Department has issued a Level 4 travel advisory, the highest level, urging Americans not to travel to a specific country due to ongoing conflict, civil unrest, and the risk of terrorism. The advisory highlights the dangers of kidnapping, crime, and armed conflict, and notes that the U.S. government's ability to provide emergency services to its citizens in this country is extremely limited. The State Department advises those currently in the country to depart immediately using commercial or other privately available transportation options.
