4 space tourists splash down after traveling an orbit never attempted before

Four space tourists, including a former NASA astronaut, successfully returned to Earth after a three-day mission aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, splashing down off the coast of Florida. The mission, organized by Axiom Space, marked the second all-private trip to the International Space Station (ISS), where the crew conducted various scientific experiments and engaged in educational outreach. The team, led by retired astronaut Peggy Whitson, also included stem cell researcher Rayyanah Barnawi, who became the first Saudi woman in space, and businessman John Shoffner, who funded the trip.
