Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that Fla. has once again broken its own tourism record for the sixth time, according to DeSantis's office.

Florida has set new records for tourism in 2023, attracting over 140 million visitors in the first nine months, surpassing previous records and demonstrating a robust recovery from the impacts of the global health crisis. The state's tourism industry, a significant economic driver, saw a 30% increase in international visitors compared to the previous year, with a notable rise in tourists from Canada, Mexico, and the UK. Key attractions like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Miami Beach continue to draw crowds, while the state's diverse offerings, including its natural beauty and cultural events, contribute to its appeal. Florida's Governor, Ron DeSantis, credits the state's focus on freedom and family-friendly policies for the tourism boom, emphasizing the state's commitment to maintaining its status as a top travel destination.
